We’re totally definitely going to catch up … I promise. BMT 2025 was all about falling behind because, guess what? That whole thing about having jobs and families finally caught up to us. Whoops! What goobers. It probably didn’t help that this year was all about feeding Franchise Man. Franchise Man is always hungry. Franchise Man needs food. We watched the Mighty Ducks trilogy, the Porky’s trilogy, the Smokey and the Bandit trilogy, and five God’s Not Dead films, and *checks notes* nine Pink Panther films … that can’t be right. Let’s just say we didn’t help ourselves this year. Hitting up dem mushy cycles (films we should have watched before? What does that even mean) should give way to a super data oriented approach to 2026. My New Year’s Resolution is to not fall behind in BMT again. Onwards and upwards to 2026!
