Ah 2017 truly was an year of extremes for BMT. We watched 68 films, a record for BMT. We began with a sequel cycle which began a journey into watching all of the Friday the 13th films in a single year! We saw not one but two films considered the worst of all time (Manos: Hands of Fate, and Superbabies: Baby Geniuses 2). We started to collect a set of films, nine different punctuation marks, nine different months on the calendar, nine different “friends” to tag along with our films! What could be more stress inducing and aggravating?! Speaking of friends, BMT went to college and decided to test its limits by watching the dregs of bad movie watching, an illuminating experience indeed. It was a glorious year, complete the Big Momma saga, fall in love with Friday the 13th, have a surreal experience being the creeper creeping around the Fifty Shades Darker screening, and finally (finally!) watch Kirk Cameron’s Saving Christmas! Ah the glory of all glories. Like Gerard Butler in Geostorm the Bad Movie Twins will someday control the world from a network of satellites in the sky. Until then, it’s onto 2018!
