I think 2019 will go down as one of the biggest and boldest BMT years yet! The main event of course was that we hit 500 official BMT films. Congrats to the art of film, you did it, you gave us the ability to watch 500 terrible films (but for real, what are we doing with our lives again?). Additionally, we crushed a few franchises, including the entire Universal Soldier series, the entire Rombo series, and the original Texas Chainsaw Massacre series! So yeah, we nailed the movie section as usual. We also continued our Rich & Poe saga with a story about the development of the Rich & Poe Extended Universe (R&PEU) and the origin story of Rich and Poe themselves! Spoiler alert: Rich & Poe were with us the whole time, Rich & Poe were the friends we made along the way (awwwww). And of course, no BMT year would be complete without a massive change to the structure of the BMT cycle. Introducing the Bring a Friend category (nee Games category, nee Razzies category)! That’s right, all year around we brought wonderful friends along like, *gulp* … Texas Chainsaw Massacre: The Next Generation. We’ve almost been doing this for ten years, so onward to 2020!
