Answers

1) You would be forgiven for thinking Orange Crush (#1 on the alternative list, but not on the Top 100 at all), but the highest is Losing My Religion. Personally, I think Shiny Happy People is a banger though, love Kate Pierson.

2) This is a BMT … well, not classic, but certainly a film we watched. No Holds Barred. It is mostly famous for the final fight between Hogan and Tom Lister Jr. if I recall. Otherwise is was kind of meh.

3) It was the only other truly notable one, License to Drive. I’ve been meaning to watch that one just because it was on television all the time in the 90s. It played 84 times in the 90s.

4) That would be a magic pair of sunglasses baby. If they are both wearing them then one can manipulate them physically and make them do what they want. Add in a B plot about an eeeeevil corporation and we got a stew cooking.

5) I read this play, it was Long Day’s Journey into Night, which he also played in the Broadway debut. Katherine Hepburn got a nomination for this, the eight nomination in a row after winning her first in 1934. She would eventually win three in a row to end her career including for On Golden Pond.

Bonus NYTimes Listing Answer: That is the Kathryn Bigelow classic Near Dark. And yeah, cowboy and vampire just about sums it up, it is a great movie.

Every so often I think “Man I must have seen like all of the bad vampire movies ever made” and then I look and realize there are like a thousand of them.
