Answers

1) An actual quiz question? Weird. Well, there is of course Madame Web. The three Venoms, which are Venom, Venom: Let There Be Carnage, and Venom: The Last Dance. And finally it’s Morbin’ Time, that would be Morbius. The best by far is Madame Web.

2) Hmmmm, why would you be able to know the name of some lake in Africa? Well, consider the country due north of Ghana, Burkina Faso. What was a prior name for that country? Upper Volta. Et voila. The lake is Lake Volta.

3) That would be Watermelon Sugar. Which I maybe could have figured out. I did remember that he has a food related song title. As it Was though is really good, I’m listening to it now.

4) Wrack you brains, do you remember the name of that character. That’s right, everyone’s favorite villain, Mysterio. The conceit of Mysterio is fun, a special effects artist who becomes a villain using his illusions. The character has been in a bunch of television shows all the way back to 1967.

5) That’s right, May slipped Chameleon a bunch of ambien and he presumably shopped a bunch online and then fell asleep.

Bonus NYTimes Listing Answer: That would be Black Rain, a film likely conceived at the height of Japanese economic panic in the US.

I need to see that film at some point, but I never have gotten around to it.
