Oh man, so get this. My parents are getting married … again? Whatever, it is a whole thing. And while preparing this like crazy people I fell unconscious from exhaustion and now can’t remember a thing! Do you remember what happened in My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2?

1) It is between the father and mother obviously … wait, what?! Oh yeah, turns out since they got married during the war things were a bit “wild west” and the wedding certificate isn’t valid. So time to get married again.
2) She can either stay nearby at Northwestern in Chicago, or go far away and go to NYU in New York. Don’t worry though … both cost about $60K per year to attend.
3) He is convinced he is descended from Alexander the Great. Spoiler alert … we probably all are (at least anyone with European genetics I wouldn’t be surprised by). Either way there is no way to trace an actual direct route back, that makes no sense, it is too far back!
4) He gets stuck in the bathtub! What a hoot. For those taking notes at home, it is because his hip replacement gets stuck or something, so he has to go to the hospital to get it unlocked or something.
5) It’s the father’s brother whom he hasn’t seen in many years since the brother has never visited him in America. Turns out … pretty good brother, he saves the day by convincing the mother that the father is truly in love with her.
Bonus Answer: You best believe we are getting Joey Fatone starring in his own big fat Greek gay wedding! We open the same way, things aren’t going so hot for Toula. Her family leans on her too heavily and the weight is almost crushing her. Things only get worse when she realizes that Fatone seems really sad and she can’t figure out why … maybe it is because he is constantly single. So she decides to set him up on a few dates with nice Greek girls. This doesn’t help, and she gets more frustrated with him culminating in her yelling at him before realizing that she is being just like her father was to her. And by stepping back she realizes wait … catering, catering partner, talk to me people. He’s gay! That shouldn’t stop anyone though. Eventually they throw a big fat Greek gay wedding, and her brother realizes wait … Toula truly does too much for us, with our father getting older we all need to step up to make sure our family is doing okay, she can’t be the only one. The End.
And yeah, of course it is called My Big Fat Gay Greek Wedding. I really struggled with whether you drop the Greek out of the title, but I think you still need it.
